Daniel Harris, Counsellor

Hello, my name is Daniel Harris, I specialise in helping clients to navigate their way through life’s difficult moments. I am a fully qualified and insured counsellor with eight years of experience. I have worked in various settings such as primary health care, employee assistance, and the voluntary sector. In addition to running my own private practice, I also work with Mind, NHS, and Petals.

As a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), I work to a high professional standard which alongside my life experiences ensures that I bring a level of openness and understanding to each client. I am trauma-informed and I use an integrative approach to support my clients. I am a relatable, warm, and friendly counsellor with a specialism in working with grief and trauma.

Having experienced baby loss myself I was drawn to working for Petals to give back to the charity that supported both my partner and I after the devasting loss of our son. Grief is the price we pay for the people we have sadly lost. Whilst the journey can seem overwhelming at times, I can reassure you that I will do my best to facilitate your healing journey.
