Anna Berkley, Counsellor

Hello, I am Anna. I have worked with parents since 1995, mostly as an NHS midwife (qualified in 2000). More recently I have worked as a counsellor (qualified 2020) in perinatal mental health services with people who have experienced baby loss and birth trauma.

I am a BACP accredited counsellor with Petals, alongside working for a local hospice. My interests are walking my dog in nature, singing in a choir, mindfulness and meditation.

I have much compassion and have always found it humbling and a great privilege to work with people experiencing loss. It is an honour to be present at what can be such a raw and painful time.

I aim to be alongside and support you through grief and transition, to facilitate accessing your own inner strength moving forwards, and to hold a space for you to explore making meaning in your life.
