A Petals Webinar
The issue affecting 1 in 2 of you:
How to support your colleagues after a miscarriage
One in two people have experienced pregnancy or baby loss or closely know someone who has. The impact on mental health is widely recognised, although the topic itself remains a taboo – not least in the workplace.
The numbers show that this is an issue that affects many of us, but it’s likely that you have not been aware of the extent or how to confidently respond when it does happen.

Baby Loss Awareness Week Posters
Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) takes place each year from 9th to 15th October.
We’ve created a set of posters for businesses to share during BLAW 2025. They’re designed to be easy to use – you can print them for noticeboards or toilet doors, or share them digitally in newsletters and on intranets.
The posters gently explore two important themes:
-
How to support a colleague after baby loss
-
How to take care of yourself during Baby Loss Awareness Week
We know this week can feel especially heavy for those who have been personally affected. These posters not only offer helpful guidance but also show your colleagues that they are seen, supported, and not alone.

About Petals, the baby loss counselling charity

Petals is a charity that exists to provide specialist counselling to bereaved parents going through this devastating experience. We create a safe space for parents to talk about what happened — often for the first time. By helping them process the trauma and make sense of their experience, we help parents begin to heal and move forward with hope for the future.
Founded in 2011, the charity has grown to support over 1,500 parents across the UK each year. Yet the need continues to outpace our capacity. We are working hard to raise the funds needed so that every bereaved parent can access the specialist care they deserve.
