I became a trustee of Petals after the death of my daughter, Paloma. In the months that followed, my family and I received counselling from Petals, which gave us a lifeline at a time when everything felt broken. That support has stayed with me, and it’s why I’m so passionate about helping other bereaved parents access the same care and understanding.

Alongside my role with Petals, I’m Director of Communications and Fundraising at a UK university and co-host of the award-winning podcast Dad Still Standing, which supports dads through baby loss.

I’ve worked in communications, policy and public affairs for more than a decade, specialising in telling difficult stories and helping organisations through challenging times. I have also served on the trustee boards and governing bodies of a number of local and national charities, as well as primary and higher education institutions. In 2020, I was awarded the British Empire Medal by HM Queen for my services to young people.

Both personally and professionally, I believe in the power of empathy, honesty and open conversation, and I bring that commitment to my work with Petals.
