Petals are pleased to be working in partnership with Lancashire and South Cumbria Local Maternity Neonatal System (LMNS) to deliver specialist counselling support to members of the maternity, neonatal and perinatal mental health workforce. This support has been put in place following discussions with staff who have talked about their own personal trauma, loss, and vicarious trauma, and how this impacts them both at work and home.

Once your referral has been received, a member of the Petals team will contact you to arrange the next steps. You will be offered up to eight sessions with a specialist counsellor (this may be extended if there is a clinical need for further support).
