Petals are pleased to be working in partnership with Lancashire and South Cumbria Local Maternity System (LMS) to deliver our specialist counselling support to bereaved parents who have received their care from the Trust. 

The terms of this partnership state that we are able to provide funded counselling sessions to parents who have experienced any of the below within the last year:

• Early miscarriage (including molar and ectopic pregnancy)
• Recurrent miscarriage
• Second Trimester Loss
• Termination for Medical Reasons (TFMR)
• Stillbirth
• Neonatal Loss
• Pregnancy After Loss

Your referral must come from a healthcare professional in Lamcashire & South Cumbria Reproductive Trauma Service.  If you fit the above criteria please ask the professional referring you to click HERE to complete our Request for Counselling form.

If your loss does not come under any of the above, it would still be hugely beneficial for both you and us if you complete our Request for Counselling Form.  Our counselling coordinator will always respond to you and signpost you to other services that may be able to offer you support.  Furthermore, the collation of accurate data showing how many parents need our support provides important evidence for us to take to funders as we work hard to expand our service.
