Clare Edwards - Head of Fundraising & Communications
I moved from a career in radio journalism to not-for-profit and have worked in senior communications and fundraising roles for a number of charities, supporting causes such as social mobility and hospice care.
In 2023 my niece, Eloise, was stillborn at 38 weeks and the support Petals gave my brother and his wife was life-changing. It opened my eyes to the importance of specialist counselling being available for the hundreds of people who experience the unique trauma and pain of baby loss.
My role is to lead the team in generating as much charitable income as we can to sustain the charity and support as many bereaved parents as possible, and to raise awareness of the incredible work we do at Petals and the expertise we hold within the team.
Our fundraising target is ambitious but demand is high – we are determined to widen our reach. Support Petals and you will make a demonstrable and long-lasting impact on the lives of others.
If you are interested in getting involved personally, through a foundation or a business, I would love to hear from you.
