Amy Butterworth, Chair of Trustees
I am delighted to be a trustee of Petals, as I firmly believe that it provides a critical service helping families who experience trauma and grief in exceptional circumstances, regardless of their income or ability to pay. The specialist nature of the Petals counselling service truly helps women and couples navigate their experiences and start to take steps forwards. Petals amplifies the voices of those who have suffered pregnancy loss and raises awareness of what is often an unspoken topic.
I have spent my career in and around the people function of organisations, both in-house and as a management consultant. I support individuals, teams and organisations to change and develop and have a particular focus on organisational development and the future of work. I am passionate about working with purpose-led and not for profit organisations and recent clients include the NHS, Guide Dogs UK, and UK Parliament. I live in Cambridge with my husband and two children and, having experienced first hand the devastating impact of pregnancy loss, am committed to supporting Petals to develop and grow so that more families can receive support at a critical time in their lives.’
