Francesca McDougall, Petals Counsellor
Baby loss can leave you feeling as though you’ve been dropped into a dense forest with no clear path to follow. Grief can feel isolating, overwhelming and impossible to navigate alone.
Counselling offers you a space to process your loss, explore overwhelming emotions safely and support you to find your bearings again.
In sessions I will walk alongside you through the uncertainty of grief, helping you to navigate your way at your own pace, until the way forward feels a little clearer. We will work together in person centred way to make sure you get what you want from counselling sessions.
I feel I offer a creative approach to helping you process your grief in a non-judgemental and safe space. I am passionate about supporting people through their individual experience and holding them as they grieve in the own unique way.
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Over the years I have gained experience working at a bereavement charity and I have counselled people for general mental health. I have also worked at a hospital in the North East as a Maternity Bereavement Counsellor.
