Unique bucket list locations.

A community you’ll never forget.

Join the journey, change a life.

Lace Up and Trek is our newest series of fundraising adventures, designed to take you to unique bucket list destinations across the UK, supported by the Petals Community, as you raise money to support more bereaved parents with Petals’ specialist baby loss counselling.

Each event will include an epic adventure to a must-see location – a chance to challenge yourself, find time to reflect on your own journey, or get together with friends and family in remembrance of a little one lost too soon.

Accompanied by Petals staff, counsellors and other supporters, the Lace Up and Trek series will take you to the top of mountains, along beautiful coastlines, and around breath-taking lakes – all while raising vital funds to support more parents following the heartbreak of baby loss.

Our first adventure will be…

Snowdon by Night

9th & 10th May 2026

Join #TeamPetals as we lace up in the early hours, climb Wales’ tallest peak together by torchlight, starting at 1.15am and aiming to reach the summit by sunrise.

Lace Up and Trek Mount Snowdon with #Team Petals and your ticket will include:

  • A guided mountain climb, led by a qualified and experienced team and alongside Petals staff
    and fellow supporters
  • Petals merchandise to wear during the climb, including our Petals pink boot laces
  • Tea and coffee before we set off, and a celebratory breakfast bap and refreshments on return
  • Dedicated support from our fundraising team to help you reach your target

What?

Climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by torchlight with #TeamPetals staff, counsellors and families. We’ll walk approx. 14km through the night and witness the changing colours of the peaks as dawn breaks, enjoying the breathtaking views of the Snowdonia National Park together, before celebrating the achievement with a team breakfast back at ground level.

Where?

Mount Snowdon, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, Wales.

We’ll climb the highest mountain in England and Wales, standing at 1,085m (3,560 feet). The trek will start and end in the village of LLanberis – famous for its outdoor activities, rich slate quarrying history and stunning scenery around Llyn Padarn lake.

Who?

We’re welcoming anyone over the age of 16.

Whether you’ve been supported by Petals, know someone who has, or just fancy the challenge! Guided by experienced mountain leaders and joined by our Petals Team to support you all the way, we’ll trek together as a group (or in smaller teams depending on numbers), creating our first ever Lace Up community.

What do our fundraisers have to say about taking on a challenge with #TeamPetals?

It felt like a small way to give back to an organisation that had done so much for us.

The event itself was incredible; well organised, full of energy, and a genuine celebration of the positive impact that Petals has on so many lives. There’s something very special about fundraising for a cause that means so much to you and knowing that you’re helping others access the same support that made such a difference to your own family.

Petals Client, Royal Parks Runner

This year, I ran the London Marathon as my way of saying thank you to Petals for the incredible support they gave us. It was also an incredible opportunity to raise awareness about baby loss and the vital work that Petals does in helping other families – and Dads in particular – facing similar heartbreak.

Every step I took was in memory of our precious babies and in support of all those who need Petals’ compassionate care.
