Annie Williams, Trustee
I live in Norfolk with my husband. We have two grown up children and three grandsons.
I retired five years ago following a successful 17-year career in fundraising. Over this time, I acquired a track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies and securing transformational philanthropic donations. I ended my career as Fundraising Director for a National charity.
Prior to my fundraising career, I ran my own businesses in the health and hospitality sectors.
Since retiring from full time employment, I have kept myself busy with various hobbies, including being a governor at a local primary school. have also enjoyed mentoring senior leaders.
I have been a Trustee of Petals since 2022. Although I have not personally experienced the loss of a child, as a mother I can only imagine the suffering and heartache this must bring.
As such, I’m absolutely thrilled to play a very small part in my role as a Trustee of Petals. We can’t change the trauma that has occurred, but we can support and empathise as families navigate the difficult journey they face.
